Yu Yan (b.1996, China) holds a B.A. degree in Studio Arts and Economics from Smith College and is currently a candidate in the Art, Design, and the Public Domain Program at Harvard University, Graduate School of Design. She also studied Art History and Fashion Visual Presentation at Columbia University and Parsons School of Design in 2017. Her works deal with the multifaceted interaction between the urban scenes and humans, seeking cultural sustainability within local diaspora community and public realms at large with artistic designs and interventions.
